CHRIS ROBB 

Chris Robb is an award-winning Scottish filmmaker, producer and founder of Tripswitch Productions.A graduate of film school in Los Angeles, Chris worked in the film and television industry in London before returning to Scotland to establish Tripswitch as a home for bold, cinematic storytelling with international reach.His work includes Utopia, shot across Jaipur, Kabul, Dushanbe and Aberdeen, which was selected as Afghanistan’s official entry for the Academy Awards® and qualified for Golden Globe® consideration.Tripswitch is now focused on developing prestige film and television projects rooted in Scotland but built for an international audience — morally complex stories about power, family, identity, corruption and survival. The company is also building an Isle of Bute-based production ecosystem, combining locations, accommodation, creative space and local infrastructure for independent screen production.Current projects include The North, a deeply personal Scottish drama exploring addiction, crime, family fracture and institutional failure.
